My Approach
I fell into photography by accident as I needed to choose an “add on” element on my media course and photography was an option, so I took it. I never expected to fall in love with it.
Photography for me is the ability to capture a fleeting moment, or a memory to keep and treasure. I love images that make me smile, I love images that make you smile! In 2010 I was lucky enough to be able to host an exhibition, but I feel even luckier being able to take part in something that has grown to be more than just a hobby. It’s grown into friendships, into 4am walks in the rain and behind the scenes looks at museums and galleries.
It’s grown into the ability for me to share in people’s lives and celebrations – it’s grown into something I can share with you.
Relaxed and informal – I don’t have a studio or huge lighting kits, but I use what’s around, exploring the environment for interesting backdrops, using the sun, natural light and nature to direct our shoot.
